Димитър Чобанов – икономист от УНСС: Страховете на хората са обосновани, за което вина носят политиците

/КРОСС/ Страховете на хората са обосновани, за което вина носят политиците и начина, по който досега комуникираха с обществото за въвеждането на еврото. Набляга се твръде много на позитивната страна от въвеждането на еврото, но се премълчават някои разходи и рискове. Това заяви снощи в интервю за NOVA NEWS икономистът от УНСС Димитър Чобанов.

Според него информационната кампания трябва да се промени и да се акцентира повече на това по какъв начин ще се случи процесът по приемането на еврото. Той също така смята, че не е нужно хората да бъдат убеждавани, че цените няма да се повишат, защото това всеки ще го усети по джоба си, когато влезе в магазина да пазарува.

Чобанов определи като „сериозно техническо предизвикателство" преминаването от лев към евро при подготовката на държавния бюджет за догодина, но допълни, че това ще бъде предизвикателство не само за политиците, но и за бизнеса и банковата ни система.

Относно самото въвеждане на еврото експертът припомни, че това така или иначе е трябвало да се случи по силата на договора ни по присъединяване към Европейския съюз, като уточни, че процесът е започнал още през 2020 г. с влизането ни във Валутния механизъм.

Икономистът отбеляза, че до няколко години страните в еврозоната най-вероятно вече ще използват за разплащане и дигитално евро, което по думите му е сред основните приоритети на Европейската централна банка.

По думите му един от плюсовете на т.нар. дигитален портфейл е, че за транзакциите и поддръжката на сметката няма да се взимат такси, както правят търговските банки в момента.

Много е важно обаче как ще бъде реализирана тази идея, за да не се окаже, че не носи големи изгоди за потребителите, предупреди Чобанов.
